V24 was a South Korean numbers station first reported in the early 1970’s Over the years of its activity, it used many variations of music as its intro. It used classical music, martial arts music, North Korean folk songs, and most commonly Kpop, during it’s later stages.
In June of 2015, the station went inactive. On November 25-26th in 2015, the station played the Kpop song “Into the New World” on a loop for about 36 hours simultaneously on both 4900 kHz and 6215 kHz. In February 2016, the station was reactivated and began sending messages again. V24 was last heard on September 9th, 2020.

V24 transmitted on many frequencies: 4500, 4600, 4900, 5115, 5715, 6215, 6330, and 6730 kHz from 12:00 to 16:20 UTC. Some days there could be up to 5 messages, or there could be none. If there is no message to be sent on a certain schedule, nothing at all will be sent.
