S04 was a Bulgarian SIA numbers station first spotted in the 1980’s. Like the other Bulgarian Edna Sednitzer stations, S04 went through a long period of inactivity. It reappeared again in November 1999, transmitting only on one schedule until it went inactive in February / March 2006.
It transmitted on 3373 kHz LSB on the second Monday and Tuesday of the month at 22:45 UTC with ID 537 and serial number 342. Then from March to October the next year, the time changed to 21:45 UTC and transmitted on 3868 kHz. It was also heard on the first Monday or Tuesday in rare cases.
