EV01 is an indicator for a possible numbers station.  It was short lived, so it might have just been used for a special occasion.  Perhaps this station was intended for one specific recipient.  EV01 had an unusual schedule, sending only one message in 4 months.  At the end of those 4 months, it sent another message in a different voice, but still 35 groups that repeated for up to 30 minutes.

It could be a fake station, or a test station too.  The location was never verified, but was thought to have come from the Middle East based on accent and signal reports.

EV01 was active from 10/26/2011 until 1/21/2012.
