S17 was a control numbers station that always sent the same ID’s of 555 and 313 then 42 and 05. “42” was possibly a decode key, and 05 indicates the amount of digits that were in each message group sent. The 5 digit group varied, but were related. This station was also originally nicknamed Bulgarian Betty.
