S26 was a rare station that went unnoticed by many of the numbers station monitoring groups. A letter sent to Simon Mason and posted on his website cleared up a lot of the details about it. S26 was likely operated by one of the Polish intelligence agencies. The station ceased operation around the late 1970’s and was replaced by S11.
