E14 was a counting control version numbers station of E05. It usually sent only a 4 figure group for 10 minutes before ending. It had been observed sending 2, 3, 4, 5, and even 6 and 7 digit message groups before.
This station was possibly an attempt to distract jamming attempts from actual E05 messages. It had the same voice, the same strong USB emission mode, and the signature rushing air noise. These transmissions were sent out multiple times per day, starting on the half hour. Sometimes it transmitted on parallel frequencies. E14 went inactive around late 1995 to early 1996.
